Fake Church

Geoff Grimwood's Fake Church is the improvised comedy show that forces you to choose your god wisely... A rotating cast of comedians improvise a fake religious service - and an entire religion - on the spot based on YOUR suggestions. Complete with a fake sermon, fake scripture, fake kid's program, a full fake church choir and special guests, Fake Church is the one of a kind comedy show to help get you through these difficult times. This show somehow manages to be hilarious, ridiculous and so very genuine and heartwarming all at the same time.

Last week, my husband Bradford and I were a part of Fake Church at (le) Poisson Rouge. This was the "Fake Church of Humidity" and in the Fake Kid's Program we got to meet rain and sun and see what happens when they squish their faces together. Beautiful, beautiful things happen.
